How many times do you brush in a week?

and be honest about it.

i know there are people out there that brush like once a week.

be truthful i dont judge. How many times do you brush in a week?
I only brush in the mornings, so 7 times a week.. unless I don't have time cuz I woke up late for school or something.. but I usually brush once a day :)How many times do you brush in a week?
lol. as if we'd care what soe ranomd on yahoo thinks anyway. but no. i brush twice a day so thats 14 times a week but in the rare case that i eat a sticky lolly or something and i just feel the plaque. then i brush. and fo some reason (and i just then asked a question about this. you'll see it soon) my teeth hurt when i exercise so i brush when i get back form that to cause it feels bad.
what do u mean brush?

liek brushing your teeth?

I bursh about 2 times a day..

One, when i get up,

Two, when i go to sleep.

and if i have to, ill bursh after i eat.
hayy [:

well i brush like maybe 2-3 or sometimes

when i feel very ';clean'; even 4 times a day

so a total of 14, 21 or 28 times a week

gotta have them pearly whites :D
Hm...I usually brush twice a day every day in the week. Unless I'm REALLY tired before I go to sleep. Then I don't. But then I'll make sure to brush better in the morning! :D
i brush 1 time when i wake up right after i eat each meal and before i go to bed so that is 5 times a day so 35 times a week
14-15 times. If you dont brush at least twice a day, by 50 you'll have alot of lost teeth.
Twice a day every day.
a week....a week....i would have to say about-21 times because of i brush 3 times a day, so yeah
Brush my teeth? Everyday twice a day! Brush my hair? Only when its wet, but I wash it everyday!
21 to 35 times because I have braces.
About 21 times 3 each day
Well i brush teeth atleast twice a day that makes it 7 times 2 equals 14 times in a week.

Sorry for the math :)

EVERYONE!! IF IT''S DENTAL, IT MEAN HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH IN A WEEK?
I brush 2 or 3 times a day.
twice a day so 14 times a week
14. (Twice a day)
twice or more a day. I try not to be too gross.

Would be able to use a paintball co2 tank with my air brush?

i bought a new air brush kit (I am just staring out) , but it didn't come with the air compressor. i was looking at some, but i am kinda on a budget.Would be able to use a paintball co2 tank with my air brush?
An airbrush requires a constant pressure (by using a regulator) of about 18 to 24psi. C02 cannister won't do that.

You can purchase a regulator (about 40 bucks) and chuck to fit a tire 3 bucks), then have the tire filled for free at the gas station. I'm not kidding!Would be able to use a paintball co2 tank with my air brush?
No you can not, you need constant pressure for air brush.
Personly i think it is better just to drop the $100 and get a compressor. here is a link that should help you decide.

I Have a Hell Of a toothache i dont really brush my teeth as my memory is really bad?

I HAve the worst tooth ache i dont really brush my teeth as i have a bad memory...and i have never really got into a rutein and ive never really been to a dentist....i have no anti biotics and i need something that will take it away quickly and something you can find around the house

Please Help!I Have a Hell Of a toothache i dont really brush my teeth as my memory is really bad?
I have had success with maximum strength ora-gel, and then always brush with Sensodyne.I Have a Hell Of a toothache i dont really brush my teeth as my memory is really bad?
    1. brush your teeth it will help remove any foods or plaque that may be irritating the tooth.

    2. rinse you mouth with warm salt-water. (just add table salt to water until the water is cloudy).

    3. then put Dr. Tishner's anticeptic on a cottonball and press it on the infected tooth.

The pain usually goes away for a day or 2. But if it does not then that means you have an abcess and you must get antibotics and have the toothe pulled.

    How this helps.
    Oragel.

You should really take better care of your teeth. Brushing them should come as naturally as breathing.

Get into a routine! Brush them at least twice a day!

Do you not get tired of that scuzzy feeling? My grandmother always said it was like having moss on your teeth.
grab a shot of whiskey and sip enuff to hold in your cheek over the sore tooth..... then get the OraGel.. and call a dentist!!... it's only going to get worse!!!....(you, my friend, are SOL.... it's a holiday weekend.... look for an emergency dentist!!!)
It'll all be over soon. As my dentist says, you only have to brush the teeth you want to keep.

I personally don't recommend rutein-- it has some undesireable side effects.
A clove of garlic. Cut it in 1/2 and lay it on your gum. It will draw out any infection.
brush them then floss then take ur butt to a dentist asap!

What type of comb/brush is best for ethnic hair?

is a brush or comb better for african american hair?

i am half black and half white. my hair is relaxed and i use a flat iron to straighten it. my hair is very fragile so people tell me to use combs because brushes pull out more hair, but i think my hair looks better when i brush it...but is it really doing damage? What type of comb/brush is best for ethnic hair?
I use a bone comb and SOFT natural boar bristle brush for mineWhat type of comb/brush is best for ethnic hair?
Hi. You should avoid the brush and use a wide tooth comb. I am black, and I used a brush for years before realizing that it was slowly pulling out my hair. You might not notice the damage now, but eventually it will show, and it may be difficult to reverse. A relative of mine knew two Caucasian women with waist length hair. One had straight hair, and the other had wavy hair. Both used afro picks, not brushes, to comb through their hair to prevent damage.
    A extra wide tooth comb.

I do not use brushes. They pull and stretch the hair causing it to snap off.
hahaha ETHNIC hair. we call it nappy

When you get your wisdom teeth cut out, do you really have to wait about 5 days to brush your teeth?

And also how long do you have to wait to be able to eat or drink anything? And how do you clean your wounds back there without hurting anything? When you get your wisdom teeth cut out, do you really have to wait about 5 days to brush your teeth?
This answer is at the Web MD site too.

Avoid rubbing the area with your tongue or touching it with your fingers.

Continue to brush your teeth and tongue carefully. When you get your wisdom teeth cut out, do you really have to wait about 5 days to brush your teeth?
different people are different -- my brother had a really bad time of it -- i had a horrible time getting them pulled out but was eating the day after.
Where did you get that information? After 24 hours after extraction, as long as there is no bleeding (if there still is call your DDS...asap!)you can brush your teeth. Just be careful not to brush extraction site, obviously. Your mouth and your teeth need to be clean to ensure that bacteria does not build up in the mouth. The first 24 hours after extraction do not eat hot, spicy or course foods. Do not drink hot liquids or alcohol, either, as it will loosen scabs and promote bleeding. No straws either, as it will loosen scab also. Eat soft foods...scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes. ice cream, etc. and that can be eaten when there is no obvious bleeding....4-8 hours after surgery. It depends on the individual, though.and if you are having a local anesthesia or a general one...which puts you to sleep during the surgery. Needless to say...good luck!
Of course not! Brush your teeth with CARE! Not over the extraction area, but everywhere else is fine. Do not rinse or spit the first 24 hrs, it causes more bleeding. After 24 hrs, you should be able to rinse with water, (no mouthwash right away, it's too abrasive).
If it's anything like when I had pieces of bone chiseled out of my jaw to remove all four of my wisdom teeth, you won't even think about brushing. I could barely open my mouth wide enough to fit a straw inside for a week.
No you should brush your teeth - BUT NOT YOUR INCISIONS. rinse with salt water, GENTELY -, and eating you can do - you just need to be mindful of chewing at the incision site - I would suggest soft foods - scrambled eggs , soup and Jell-O for a few days - mostly because it's easier to not slip up and chomp down on something hard in that tender area. Remember that foods too hat or cold may hurt too. when you have this done your dentist should give you very detailed instructions and also if over the counter meds are not enough he/she may prescribe something for the pain. Also some times dentists, depending on your individual situation, may prescribe antibiotics.

    You'll be fine -

I had to have both my top ones cut out and the healing process wasn't as long or a bad as I'd though it would be.

We always seem to make ourselves more scared of the dentist than we need to be don't we..???

    The one big thing though is DON'T SMOKE ! ! ! ! !

there is a condition called dry socket - that hurts like hell and the smoking and the sucking on cigs can cause this - go without them if you smoke because from what I have heard this is worse than an abscessed infected tooth....
I just brushed the front of my mouth for a while, maybe starting on the second day out. The eating part was kind of annoying... I wasn't eating normal food for over a week, I think, and I got really impatient! ;) BUT, it does give you an excuse to eat lots of ice cream and top ramen.

I wouldn't clean your wounds - leave them alone!! They'll do much better without fussing around them to open them up again.

Good luck! It's really okay. Your jaws prolly won't open very far for a while (I had trouble even getting spoon in :) but other than that, it is all right.
I brushed my teeth the next time I was awake, I was just very tender with it and didn't scrub.

I was drinking the next day and I ate soft foods w/in 2 days. It isn't as bad as people make it sound, but you do want to be tender with that area for a few days.
no u can brush ur teeth in fact u need to so u can cut down on the bacteria in ur mouth less risk of infection. Just dont brush back there okay
I brushed the first night w/o toothpaste and didn't brush the tooth next to the holes. The second day, I use a bit of toothpaste. I didn't use reg mouthwash until about 5 days later. I used the warm salt water rinse the surgeon recommended. A teaspoon to a large glass. I did this morning/night and after meals. Be gentle though. You don't want to dislodge the clot. Swish it around by moving your head and let it dribble out, no spitting.

I stuck to an all soft diet for the first 5 days. Jello, soup, mash potatoes, ice cream, oatmeal, and porridge. I built up to rice, soft tacos, and noodles. Fully back to my reg diet (meat) in about a week and a half. Keep up with the meds the doc gives and the pain isn't so bad. Good luck!
Just go home and brush where it was pulled vigorously right away. Waiting is for sissies.

  • Is it okay to brush a dog's teeth like this?

My neighbor uses a human toothbrush and human toothpaste for her dog. She brushes the dog's teeth daily/every other day.

I've got to say though, the dog's teeth are remarkably white, and her breath never stinks. I'm considering doing it with my dog. Is it okay?

Currently I use a dog toothbrush and dog toothpaste for my dog.Is it okay to brush a dog's teeth like this?
A human toothbrush is fine, human toothpaste is not. Dogs do not know how to spit the toothpaste out, and will swallow it. This is why children aren't supposed to use but a little bit, and why there's a warning to call poison control if ingested. It's harmful. Is it okay to brush a dog's teeth like this?
Just like Grapes, human toothpaste is harmful and can be potentially deadly to dogs. Please save your precious pup the uncomfortable tummy ache and use the puppy paste! You should kindly inform your neighbor also, it sounds like you both love your dogs a ton! Good for you for brushing those pupper-chomps! I think a soft, kids toothbrush would be fine to use on a dog.
Human toothpaste is toxic to dogs they don't spit. Human tooth brush is fine a baby's tooth brush works great. There are products for dogs used to brush there teeth.

The human tooth paste may work better but it's not good for dogs. This is why young children are not to use it. Dogs don't spit there teeth should not be brushed with human tooth paste.
A Human toothbrush is ok!! :)

But not Human Toothpaste....you can get the dog toothpaste at

Good Luck and hope this helps!!

They label tooth paste warning that small children should not swallow it. Last I heard it's not easy to teach a dog to rinse and spit. Use the dog paste, your dog will live longer than hers. You will love the stinky breath for a long, long time.
Buy your neighbor some dog toothpaste and give it as a present and tell her that it's a gift. Tell her in a nice way that you found out that the human toothpaste she is using is not good for her dog. Betcha she will thank you.
    Human toothbrush: fine

Human toothpaste: toxic. I would very hesitantly say MAYBE a small amount of children's toothpaste that says it's safe to swallow, but even that might upset a dog's stomach. Definitely NEVER regular adult toothpaste!!
    NO!!

your not supposed to use a human toothbrush or toothpaste.

The tooth brush is too hard for the dogs gum's and cause damage and hurt the dog.

The toothpaste is hurmful because if swallod it could harm the dog.

dog toothpaste is better because they really don't like minty flavors and human toothpaste foams a lot more. brushing is a very good idea - good for you for doing this for your dog.
Stick to the dog stuff. It is developed for dogs for a reason. I don't think your neighbor should do that because the dog will swallow it and it could make him/her sick.
    NO NO NO!!

DONT USE TOOTHPASE FOR PEOPlE.MANY OF THESE CONTAiN XYliTOl WHiCH iS TOXiC USEW A TOOTHPASTE FORMUlATED FOR DOGS. THiS iS AN iMPORTANT QUESTiON

    GlAD YOU ASKED!
    TOOTHBRUSH: YES

    TOOTHPASTE: NO!!!!!

instead mix some baking soda with water. This is what is used to brush dog's teeth if you really have too. Its safe for them.
It is not okay!!!!! It even tells us on the label not to swallow it!!! Think what it could do to ur dog! Keep doing what ur doing!!!

Where can i buy a make up brush cleaner?

And I want one that's not expensive.Where can i buy a make up brush cleaner?
I am a makeup artist and what I use is baby shampoo from the dollar store. It is safe and gentle for your brushes. I have very sensitive skin and this works best for me. Another quick and easy way to wash brushes is to wash with a bar of Dove soap right after you use them. I grab the bar and under the water I swirl the brush on it until the water runs clean. I lay the brushes to dry while I am at work and when I come back the brushes are all dry. The soap is not damaged or full of color and the brushes are clean and ready for the next use.Where can i buy a make up brush cleaner?
You don't really need to buy a make-up brush cleaner. I honestly think they're just too overpriced and pointless. You can always use a clarifying shampoo. It works just as well, if not even better. Pantene makes a really good shampoo. I forget what it says on the bottle, but it is in a clear blue-ish bottle.
mac and sephora will be expensive.

    try target or CVS

you can also clean them yourself. put a bit of soap in your hand and put a couple of drops of water on it and then swirl your brush in it. then rinse it off. and they say your suppose to let it dry naturally, but i use a towel till its just damp then i let it dry.

    goodluck =)
i just use any left over shampoo to clean my brush its much cheaper and plus also saves my left over shampoo from wasting
you can clean your brushes with baby shampoo thats what i do and its so cheap
sephora in the mall at crabtree that have a whole section.or mac but sephora is a little cheaper..
MAC has the best one for $13 but it does last long with big bottle.
Sephora Or Ulta might have them
I find that shampoo works the best.

Any tips on cleaning a nasty toilet brush?

Throw it in the trash and buy and new one. There not that expensive.=)Any tips on cleaning a nasty toilet brush?
If you're really short of cash: then soak it in a big basin or bucket containing 2 cups of household bleach mixed with hot, soapy water. Hose it down with plain water afterwards.

But if I were you, for safety's sake, I'd put it the dirty brush and its accessories in a bag and chuck into the recycle bin, before buying another one.Any tips on cleaning a nasty toilet brush?
Well... I suggest a new one like everyone else but if you must clean it then get an old disposable sponge (you won't want to use it ever again!) and soak it in a solution of warm water, bleach and dish soap. Then scrub the handle and stand really well then end by soaking the brush in the water, bleach, soap solution for at least 20 minutes. You can use the old sponge to get any feces off of it... throw the sponge away when you are done.
Toilet brushes are pretty cheap ... buy a new one.

Just get rid of that old one ... toss it. Buy a new one and make a promise to yourself that you'll give the toilets a good swish every couple days ... if you do that, there will be no need to replace that toilet brush for a few years!
No, time of labor???? Cost of a new brush????

Buy a new one....if you must clean it, use bleach to kill the nasties....
Toss it and buy a new one. You can keep the stand. Brushes are very cheap
Definitely soak it in 1gal water, 1cup of bleach - or buy a new brush - they don't cost more than a few $. :)
soak in bleach ....butr buy a new one

How do I create a realistic paint brush effect in AdobePhotoshop?

I have a graphics tablet and I want to create a pint brush stroke techniques in a design im working on, any help out there? How do I create a realistic paint brush effect in AdobePhotoshop?
You can change your brushes in the brush palette. Experiment with different ones, you'll find something you like. Realism is best helped by lowering the opacity on some strokes, and layering them.

Edit: Also, in your layers menu, you'll see a drop down box that says ';Normal'; beside the opacity adjustment. Play around with those, they will let you switch up the blends.

How do you clean an old mascara brush?

I want to use it to apply vaseline to my lashes at night. I want to use the brush because i hate getting it all over my hands and i use way to much and end up smearing all over my face which i know is good for you...

so does anyone know how to clean it to completely remove any old mascara on it??

any help/tips are appreciated best answer will get the ten points! How do you clean an old mascara brush?
Step 1 Run the bristles of the makeup brush under warm running water.

Step 2 Apply a small amount of shampoo OR Dawn Dish Soap to bristles and work into a light lather.

Step 3 Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water. You will notice that the water leaving the brush is tinted from old makeup.

Step 4 Continue rinsing until no color leaves the brush.

Step 5 Allow it to air-dry.How do you clean an old mascara brush?
i just kept rinsing it under really hot water til the water stopped running black, then left it in a cup of boiling water for like 5mins then rub some olive oil or sunflower oil onto the brush massage it in this loosens any mascara that may be left, then run under hot water again, or pour boiling water from the kettle over it.
The best way to remove the makeup is washing it with dawn dish washing soap. Then soak it in boiling water for at least five minutes, this way the brush will be sterilized, you should change your mascera brush about every four months so you need to make sure if you are using an old brush to sterilize it. After that just let it air dry.
i was told you can clean your brushes with vinegar. rinsing it with water before and after
YOU DON';T !!!!!!! just go buy a new mascara. A doctor once told me that if use the same mascara wand it could be carrying terrible bacteria ! beware
use nail polish remover and wait till its dry then use as usual

Can i take my Oscar out of the water and clean him with tooth brush?

to get the cloud eye out and fin rot?Can i take my Oscar out of the water and clean him with tooth brush?
    I would say no..why?

Fin rot, cloudy water.......dirty water cause that stuff.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/29035692@N0鈥?/a>

Several things can cause cloudy eyes. Internal parasites, such as protozoa or flukes, are one cause. Another is the onset of cataracts. I'm not aware of any treatments for those problems. Bacteria can infect eyes damaged by injury. Treatment with a good antibiotic should cure these infections. Dietary deficiencies, such as lack of vitamin A, may contribute to poor eye health.

The most common cause of cloudy eyes seems to be poor water quality, especially when the pH drops too low. In my years as an aquarium dealer, I ran many water tests for customers. When they complained of fish with cloudy eyes, almost without exception I found the pH in their aquariums to be extremely low. Often, the pH was so low it tested off the chart.

Large fish produce a lot of waste. For example, did you know that a 10-inch oscar is the equivalent of 1,000 1-inch oscars?

Any way, the solution is simple. Check the pH. If it's below 6.8, and especially if it's below 6.4, change more water more often. If it's as I suspect, that's all you need to do. The fish will heal right up without medication. If that doesn't do it, choose one of the treatments aboveCan i take my Oscar out of the water and clean him with tooth brush?
Nooo... is this a serious question? You shouldn't be allowed to have pets. Go to a pet store and get him medication. Just ask someone working there to help you find what you need.

You should also use a water conditioner with Allantoin in it which is a natural skin protectant for your fish. I use Start Right.
    Umm.... NO.

    1. That won't help him

    2. You'll destroy the slime coat on him

    3. You'll kill him.

Try melafix or pimafix. Those work pretty good with infections and diseases.
As cruel as that would be, my main concern would be not to brush your teeth with it when you are done. You could save the toothbrush though, and keep it for when an unwanted relative stays over.
    Are you serious?! NO WAY!

    1. It will suffocate him.

    2. It will tear his scales off.

    3. That wont help fin rot or cloud eye.

    4. It will ruin his slime coat.

    5. Thats just stupid.
    You're kidding right??

If you were to do this it would completely destroy his slime coat and many other things not to mention how stressed he would get!

    Good luck!!!~~~~

How many times do you have to brush your Yorkshire Terrier teeth?

Think about it this way,how often do you brush your teeth ? once a month is better than never ,once is better still but daily is best. just remember to use a brush meant for dogs (its softer as their enamel is not as tough as ours) and a toothpaste meant for them ( usually enzimatic as they can 't spit it out like us they have to swallow it) finally,if done often the dog usually gets use to it and doesn't fight against it. good luckHow many times do you have to brush your Yorkshire Terrier teeth?
Personally, I brush my Westie's teeth daily, but on the toothpaste directions it says 2-3 times a week. (At the least.)How many times do you have to brush your Yorkshire Terrier teeth?
I feed hard cookies and pig ears and they all stay healthy....no need to brush
You should actually brush your dogs teeth twice daily, seems like a lot . But if you want to prevent tartar and plaque that is what you need to do. But it is the same with all dogs, dogs teeth should be brushed twice daily. If you cant brush them twice then one time will do okay. You should invest in some doggie tooth paste !!!
i brush my yorkshire terrier dog least about 2 or 4 times ever once month if she smell so bad and stinky then i just buy her some dogs breath mint from the pet smart store . does work also if you dont want to brush youre dog teeth all the time .
I suggest you visit http://www.dogsvets.net and consult a breed expert or a vet for free. You can also read articles on dogs section on this site

    or Eco Tools kabuki brush?

thanks!Which makeup brush is better for applying loose mineral foundation?
Eco TOOLS kABUKI bRUSHWhich makeup brush is better for applying loose mineral foundation?
It's never really a good idea to use the brushes that come with eyeshadow, blush, or foundation. Those brushes tend to apply make-up in one small area, as oppose to applying makeup evenly and beautifully to your face. I use a large Studio Basics blush brush, but you can use it for foundation, too. They come in several different sizes, also, which you probably know can be very helpful. I bought my Studio Basics brush for only a buck at Big-lots! I'm sure you can buy them at a vast amount of stores, but, hey, I chose Big-lots. (:

So, everyone can use a few skin care/pimple tips, right? Why is this? If you choose the wrong type of makeup, irritation occurs. For sure. Well, here's some info- I love helping people. (:

For tough zits, I use 'Equate Medicated Acne Gel, Maximum Strength'. You can buy it at Wal-Mart for a couple of bucks. If you have a zit, wash your face with a mild cleanser, then put this cream on before you go to bed. If you don't want to buy anything, try holding a very hot, wet rag on your pimples. The hot rag will bring the puss to the surface of your skin, making the pimples way easier to pop. Zits are caused by oil, dirt, or greasy makeup clogging your pores and irritating your skin. So, the irritation builds up and forms a pimple, or a more serious and harder to treat form of zits, called acne. Equate is a store brand, and I know you would probably rather put your trust in a more expensive brand, but, let me tell you something. The pricier brands have many of the same ingredients as the cheaper, or store brands. They charge you more for the label. The 'Equate Medicated Acne Gel, Maximum Strength' will dry up your zits, and take the irritation down a notch. That way, you can have the opportunity to pop them, or you can just be patient and wait until nature saves you from these horrible little bumps. With all that said, now I will tell you one more thing: When popping your zit/zits, use your ring fingers. They are the weakest fingers, and they won't lead to further irritation. Then, gently, place them on both sides of your zit. Now, gently push on each side, and the puss will start to leak out of the pimple. To prevent future pimples, wash your face twice a day with a mild cleanser. Harsh cleansers can be as bad as oil and dirt for your pores, if you have sensitive skin like me, that is. But I think everyone has sensitive skin somewhere on their face. Now, to cover up your zits while you still have them on your face, use a gentle, non-greasy concealer or foundation. A good, well trusted brand such as 'Almay' should do the trick. I use it, and my skin is pretty much always perfectly clear. Not to brag. LOL. Anyway, don't freak out if you get a zit, everyone gets those little suckers every once and a while. (:

Well, now that I gave you some information about skin care, makeup, brushes, and pimple popping products-Good luck!
Kabuki brushes are the best. I dont like the ones that come with the other mineral foundations. Also Bare Minerals has a great brush.

How much do you charge to dog sit in your own home? I will brush daily & take on 2 long walks, 3 potty walks?

It will be for 3 wks. time, do I charge by the day, by the wk? How much? I live in SC. Most petsitters I have looked up just stop in the person's house to take the dog out. If I have the dog w/ me 24/7 do I charge less, since I am not traveling or more, as the dog gets more attention? How much do you charge to dog sit in your own home? I will brush daily %26amp; take on 2 long walks, 3 potty walks?
charge according to the time you will be spending with the dog. decide how much you want to charge per hour of your time, times how many hours a day you will be spending w the dog. if you will be paying for any dog supplies, add that 2 your bill. How much do you charge to dog sit in your own home? I will brush daily %26amp; take on 2 long walks, 3 potty walks?
i've charged $10 for cats, $12 for small dogs, and $15 for larger dogs.
How much does it cost in your area for board? Call a few veterinarians to find out what it costs to board a dog. You can then set your charges accordingly.
Personally, I would look at this as if babysitting a child. Call around some of your area daycare centers and ask their rates per hour/day.

For me, I would charge $15 per 8 hour shift, and since you're doing it 24/7 for 3 weeks, you can give the owners a discount and only charge them for two 8 hr. shifts per day, which is $30 a day. I say this because you probably aren't gonna have to buy the dog's food. If they don't provide the food, then I'd charge an extra set amount for that per week, or have them reimburse you for the food.

Have you thought about what happens if this dog tears up your carpet, furniture, etc?? You should really have some sort of written agreement with the dog owners concerning this, because if the dog does damage to your property and it's a substantial amount of damage, you don't want to be stuck with the bill of replacing carpet or furniture. Or you can just take the risk of the dog tearing up your property and then assume the costs if it happens.

Also, what if this dog gets sick while in your care? Do the owners have a vet who will let them charge a bill if you need to take the dog to the vet?? Or are they going to leave you extra money for emergencies in case you need to take the dog to the vet?? He could get hit by a car, or get sick or anything during those 3 weeks, so you really need to think this all through and speak with the owners before you take on this job.

    Hope this helps!}}}}}
i would charge about $10.00 a day. And if it is a small or toy dog they need like 6 outdoor potty walks..good luck

Erm, if you go to one of the larger boots stores they have like 30+ different brands in store. Most will do good brushes. If you want something a bit cheaper, maybe try No. 7, 17, Ruby %26amp; Millie etc.

Even superdrug do a range of brushes. Esentially you will get what you pay for, but a cheap version will do the job.

ooh good she dint shave her pubes there...hahaha
yes, this is the reason people in food service often wear hairnets..when you brush..the air is filled with trash that falls on peoples food
would you want to find someon else's hair in your food? that's why the lunch ladies have to wear hair nets. not everyone is as clean as you.
I wouldn't say it's a health hazard but would you like someone elses hair falling into your dinner?

When I'm using acrylic paint how do I take it off the brush?

I'm about to start painting this wooden figure and I don't know exactly everything there is to it.When I'm using acrylic paint how do I take it off the brush?
Just keep a container of water and some paper towel nearby. To get the paint off the brush simply dip in the water, swish it around a little and wipe dry on the paper towel. Make sure to lay newspaper down if you don't want to mess up the table. When I'm using acrylic paint how do I take it off the brush?
You dip it in oil I've done it before. So you dip the brush in oil
    water

    Steven Wolf
Rinse it off often. I like to thin acrylic out with water and a gel-paste that creates a matte image. I do not like to use acrylic retarder. You can also thin it out with gouache, which is a method I prefer. Place it on wax paper and it will be easier to keep organized. Use cheap brushes for think coatings of acrylic.
for a quick color change; Use just a little mild soap (like liquid hand soap) in a jar of warm water then dip and swirl your brush bristles to remove most of the paint from them then use a soft (cotton) cloth to dry the brush. check by bending the wet bristles slightly at the crimp with your fingers you should not see any paint residue in that area. if you do then repeat the process with a clean mixture of water and soap.

If for some reason you have let the acrylic set in your brush then you can save it with some turpintine deluted with water and hand soap, let it set in solution for about an hour then with a fine tooth brass bristle brush you can patiently clean the brush.
Just use water, but make sure you clean it well when you are done b/c it will ruin the brush if you don't.
I agree with dollsteak--just be sure you don't let it get at all dry, or you'll never get the paint out. I have a little thingee with a ';coil'; where I can keep the brushes suspended in water while I'm painting. That way you can wash them ALL out once you're through working. Sometimes if I get heavy handed, the paint gets too close to the ';nib?'; what's it called? (I've been doing this too long!) %26amp; then I use soap %26amp; water %26amp; separate the bristles to be sure I've got it all out. Some of those brushes are MIGHTY

expensive! Oh. %26amp; on your wooden figure, you might consider using the acrylic glazes, too. Not only do they make beautiful colours when mixed with the paint (for the ';glaze';) but give a nice finish, too. Hope I helped a little..

Edit: Just read the answers, Della Mae is right, %26amp; I forgot to mention after I wash the brushes, I shape the tips. PLEASE don't listen to cocodude7! Remember oil %26amp; water don't mix??

    Edit: Just read a good answer from ol_sko14. Re: Benjovi--I NEVER heard of soaking brushes in the sink! Wouldn't that ruin their ';handles?';
With Water Dear Henry Wth Water
Acrylic paint is mixed with water when it's still wet. So, you can just wash out your brushes ASAP. If you let them dry, you can throw them away. Acrylic becomes permanent after it's dry. Good luck and happy holidays!
I use acrylic paint and I remove the paint with plain water. It works for me. When my brushes are clean I rub a dot of dishwashing liquid on them to keep them smooth.
acrylic paint is water based so you just wash it out. Don't let it dry on the brush otherwise you'll have to get a new one. So just wash the brush until the water comes out clear, then it is clean.
Yes, u can just dip it in some water then gently rub it against a dry

paper towel and repeat if necessary until all color washes away and

brush rubs clean on dry towel. Nothing to it. Just enjoy!
Actually it's simple as hell. Rinse your brushes in a sink under warm running water until you got most the pain out. Then fill the sink with water enough to cover the brushes, and soak them over night. Then rinse them under running water again, and hang them to dry.

Is it a good idea to brush your lips ?

Ive heard it makes your lips softer. I dont know though, if anything it sounds like it would make your lips raw =/ Im willing to try it though. Is it a good idea to brush your lips ?
Just dont brush them too hard :)

And put some chap-stick or vaseline (no lipgloss or lipstick) on them afterwards so that your lips don't get try and all chappy xPIs it a good idea to brush your lips ?
Rather than brushing, I recommend using a thin coat of petroleum jelly between make up, which seals in moisture and holds softness.

That is common Vaseline. Don't use Lipsil or those similar products because they melt the outer layer of skin and then you start chewing at your lips until you have torn off a piece of skin and it bleeds. You buy more and put it on because you expect it to make things better! ... Not!

Brushing can micro scratch your lips and cause hardening micro scratching. The skin on your lips is similar to that of other delicate parts of the male and female body where an internal organ transitions to external exposure, in this case, the lining of your mouth transitions into your lips. This skin is not to be exfoliated the same as outer epidermis. Attempts to exfoliate this more membrane type skin can be damaging to it.

Just trust Me! :- ) and give a thin petroleum jelly film a try for 1 day, and you will be amazed. It does the same thing for dry hands, which no hand lotion can ever do.

    Wanting the best for you

    Me! :- )
If you brush your lips very, very hard, it WILL make your lips raw.

I would probably work, and get all the dead skin off, just do it gently if you DO do it.
Brushing your lips will only cause micro scratches, which will build up scar tissue because you are basicly making them raw.

I suggest just ussing chap stick, having your lips like a pillow will just happen over time.
Once a week, GENTLY rubbing your toothbrush on your lips will exfoliate them, removing dead cells, which yes, will make your lips softer. It's fine, and good even, in moderation.
yes it does make it softer. you are supposed to use a fingernail nail brush. i've tried it before. it works! it gets all the dead skin off and makes you lips soft :)
it makes sence that it would make them softer seeing as it would get rid of the dead skin, just dont brush too hard and you should be fine
You can but make sure you don't brush very hard or do it for very long
i think it would make your lips softer... but it also gets the dead skin away like when you have chapped lips
i thik it is.. it will make ur lips soft

What's the easiest way to brush my dog's teeth?

She doesn't like it, so she bites down on the toothbrush or runs away. Is there a good way of holding her in place? What's the easiest way to brush my dog's teeth?
You just need to persist. Be very gentle, have her lying on her side (be good to do it when she's tired out from a long walk), and gently brush. Some dogs do better with a finger toothbrush. Some only like certain flavors of toothpaste. My 3 have had their teeth brushed regularly for years with mint toothpaste. I recently made a mistake and bought a different flavor and they're all fighting it.

It's normal for them to bite on the brush, they just have to have time to learn to stay still. I wouldn't recommend getting anyone to help you hold her down because you'll just stress her out more. Unless this is a giant breed of dog, you should be ok on your own. What's the easiest way to brush my dog's teeth?
You can buy beef or chicken flavor toothpaste. You can also ask your vet for tips or help.
I brush my Chihuahua's teeth when giving him a bath. He knows he cant get away during bath time. During the week he loves Greenies, get a sample from the vet.
Unless your dog has a specific problem with her teeth you could get some of those special kind of milk bones that clean their teeth wile they are chewing them.
they sell bones at the pet store that clean the dogs teeth, thats what I use, because my dogs won't let me brush their teeth at all
Greenies bones..They are awesome and you can get a free sample from greenies.com. All natural. They work too!

None of the S%26amp;M NuTec brands, including GREENIES庐, FELINE GREENIES庐, SMARTBISCUIT庐 and PILL POCKETS庐 are included in the recent nationwide pet food recall initiated by Menu Foods and other companies. All of our product brands are safe for pets to enjoy.
get someone to help you hold her. put one arm around her body and the under her neck with your hand holding her face so she cant move. start by brushing the outer sides of the teeth and when you get to the inside press your fingers aginst the skin towards the back of the mouth so she cant bite down or she will bite herself. )do not put your hand in her mouth while doing this though)
Just give her some of the treats that are out there that have the same affect.
Try the flavored toothpaste for dogs. I used to get mine the peanut butter flavor. She loved it. But then it became an issue of her trying to eat the toothbrush while trying to brush.
    get good tasting tooth past.
You now have another way, look in walmart or Petco or Petsmart for a product by Hartz. It is a Dental Chew rubber toy, you can spread peanut butter or a small amount of cheese spread between the rubber layers and she will chew to get it out. In the mean time she gets her teeth cleaned. Go to www.hartz.com and look at the info under dogs. They have drop down boxes and you can view all of the dental products and chews they make. Try the other method and she will be begging to have her teeth cleaned!
Wet a rag and pu doggie toothpaste on it. Wrap the rag around your finger and get him to naw on your finger...Rub your finger around on his teeth and he may actually like it...My 9 wk old pup loves it...I think maybe it feels good to have his gums stimulated..
you can buy dog tooth brushes that are really long this way you don't have to put your hand in there moth, they also sell dog tooth paste and bones that dogs eat that clean their teeth so you don't have to
well my shih tzu finally stopped fighting when he found out he wasn't winning. hold her down.

What is the normal age for babies to brush their teeth.?

My daughter is nearly 11 months old and when she was in the bath earlier she took her toothbrush, dipped it into a little bowl of water and started brushing her teeth then rinsing the brush back in the bowl and repeating brushing. This seems very advanced to me, not sure what other people thought? What is the normal age for babies to brush their teeth.?
Once a baby has teeth, you need to brush them. As babies get closer to their first birthday, they show an interest in doing things themselves. My son also likes to brush his own teeth since about that age. I think it's really great to show interest in a healthy habit, so I do let him do it. You will still need to help out with brushing because young children are certainly not thorough with it :)What is the normal age for babies to brush their teeth.?
I gave both my girls a little toothbrush as soon as they cut their first tooth. My first daughter cut her first tooth at 4 months. At first they just chew on it and play around. But if they watch you brush they'll get the idea. Just make sure that the toothbrush has soft bristles.
I started cleaning my kid's teeth as soon as they grew in. Kids will do it on their own because they are imitating your actions. A word to the wise, be on your best behavior in front of your children. They are very observant.
Babies start imitating very young. When my son was 11 months when the phone rang he would go to the hook and pretend to comb his hair. this is when they learn what things do. but you do have a very smart baby.
I started both of my boys, as soon as they got their first tooth. Make sure you use the children's toothpaste, that does not have fluoride in it.
Its not the age after 10 years bcoz your baby teeths will fall and after that grows you can brush teeth.
yes if she has teeth already its time for her to start brushing it doesn't really matter what age she is only if she has teeth.
well they can start brushing their teeth when they feel comfortable doing so but they should start brushing their teeth between one and two years

Does a lionfish kill with a brush of it's stems or is it non-lethal with just a brush?

My dad said that a brush of the lionfish's poison things can kill.

I thought it would just make your toes or something fall of. Which is true?Does a lionfish kill with a brush of it's stems or is it non-lethal with just a brush?
It is possible but highly unlikely that the venom from the lionfish would be lethal. It is supposedly very painful and can last for weeks. In addition necrosis of the surrounding area (decaying flesh) can occur as well with out treatment. The toxicity can vary with species as well.

  • 15 weeks pregnant and bleeding gums when I brush my teeth is this normal?

I just finished brushing my teeth, and the bleeding is really getting annoying. As soon as I start my gums are bleeding and I mean a lot. I have never had this problem before. I think I am going to have to run out and buy a whole package of toothbrushes to get through this pregnancy. Anyone else having this problem? And is this normal? Thanks15 weeks pregnant and bleeding gums when I brush my teeth is this normal?
You gain 40% more blood volume when you are pregnant, but I never had bleeding gums... I would call your DENTIST tomorrow and ask them if this is normal. Maybe you need to use different tooth paste / tooth brush. I got all of my dental work taken care of right before I got in to my 3rd trimester. Make sure nothing else is wrong please.15 weeks pregnant and bleeding gums when I brush my teeth is this normal?
Hi, I'm a dental hygienist as well as I am pregnant and bleeding gums is very common in pregnancy due to the hormone and blood flow increase. Use a soft brush, floss as often as you can stand it and if you find them swollen or painful try a salt water rinse. You may also develop a condition called a pyogenic granuloma or pregnancy tumor....its not cancerous so no worries. Its usually a redish purple colour and located in between the teeth. Often it goes away once the baby comes, but sometimes it needs to be surgecially removed. Dentists like to wait until after the baby to do this for safety and becuase it may just come back. It is important to clean your teeth as best as possible though...especially with the bleeding. Bleeding means the is an open area for bacteria to enter the blood stream and this bacteria can travel to the baby and has been known to cause premature labour. So just brush well, floss and rinse and you should be just fine. Congrats on baby!
Yes, it's normal. I got this info from babycenter.com

Swollen, tender gums that bleed when you floss or brush are a common complaint during pregnancy. They're caused by higher progesterone levels, which make your gums react more to the bacteria in plaque, and by an increased blood supply to your mouth. This so-called pregnancy gingivitis affects about half of pregnant women.

You may also develop a benign nodule on your gums that bleeds when you brush. This kind of nodule (which is relatively rare) is called a pregnancy tumor or pyogenic granuloma 鈥?scary names for something that's harmless and usually painless. Pregnancy tumors can actually pop up anywhere on your body during pregnancy, but they show up most often in the mouth.

A pregnancy tumor can grow to up to 3/4 of an inch in size and is more likely to appear in an area where you have gingivitis. Typically, it disappears after you have your baby, but if it doesn't, you'll need to have it removed. And if it causes discomfort, interferes with chewing or brushing, or starts to bleed excessively, you can have it removed while you're pregnant.
Very normal... it happened to me..

Yes it is normal. My gums bled with both my pregnancies. I remember goin to the dentist 4 a check up and the dentist warning me about it. I don't think there is anything you can do about it though. Hopefully it doesnt stay this bad through your whole pregnancy that would suck. Sorry I know I'm not much help good luck.
Totally normal. You are pumping blood for 2 people now and have an increased blood volume by about 50%. Bleeding gums is very common in pregnancy. Make sure you are keeping up regular visits with your dentist to make sure that your teeth and gums remain healthy.
it is very normal, no worries

it is because your hormone levels are off balance. since ';pink toothbrush'; started so early for you, you may want to schedule a cleaning for around 6 or 7 months. I had one at 7 months and it felt really good from my gum's being so swollen.
    Congrats on the baby...

    Switch to a soft brush.

    Don't brush hard.

    and other 'things' from you,

the bleeding gums should be a

    seperate issue. Call your Dentist

and or Doctor. I wish u a very happy baby!
Yes, it is ';normal';. Some women even lose teeth! Bring it up with your doc but essentially, you are carrying more blood now in your system and so your vascular things (gums) are super...vascular. I could have formed that sentence better.
VERY normal ( don't worry at all ) it happened to me and I was freaked about it because no one ever tells you these things :) See the link below for more info and good luck with you new baby!

Its normal. But you might want to consider a check up with your dentist if you haven't had one in a while. having healthy teeth during pregnancy is really important.
Yes. Be gentle. Use soft toothbrushes. Wash them in the dishwasher from time to time.
I have the same thing, your gums become more sensitive when pregnant.
It just means you don't brush your teeth well enough.

    Im kidding.

    Yes its normal.

Should I brush my teeth before using Crest Whitestrips?

I got a couple packets from a friend, and don't have the directions. My teeth aren't grimy, but are the strips more effective after the teeth have been recently brushed?Should I brush my teeth before using Crest Whitestrips?
rinse your mouth instead of brushing your teeth because when you brush your teeth the white strips don't work. This is because the toothpaste blocks anything that tries to whiten your teeth.

How can I convince my co-workers to brush their teeth after lunch ?

I am almost the one to go to the restroom after lunch to brush my teeth !How can I convince my co-workers to brush their teeth after lunch ?
I dont know. maybe make it more noticeable that you do it. I dont know honestly. How can I convince my co-workers to brush their teeth after lunch ?
You can't convince them to do anything unfortunately some people don't have the time to brush after every meal. Some people don't like the taste of toothpaste in their mouths after lunch. If you are that serious about this endeavor then i suggest getting them all finger toothbrushes or miniature mouthwashes and toothpaste, that way it's up to them whether or not they choose to do it is another story at least having the tools provided may be more encouragement. and also whatever you do don't get righteous on them telling that it's imperative and stuff like that... more people are just likely to get pissed off then listen to you if you handle it that way.
People don't really have to brush their teeth after lunch. You can chew a piece of gum that do the same thing as brushing. We all are adults. Most people don't brush which is a great practice to get into. I think that you should continue to keep brushing and maybe you will have a partner before the year is out. We as humans are lazy and don't want to take time out to take care of ourselves. Don't push it, there are other people out there who brush after Lunch, snack, dinner, before bed, waking, before sex, after drinking in the club etc. So you see some people are worst. (smile).
Why do you feel that it is your quest to make other people brush their teeth? That is just silly. Why are you worried about them brushing their teeth? If someone else's teeth is that big of a deal to you, you really need to find a hobby.
try buying those little finger pads for cleaning teeth and show someone what its for (close friend) Idea should catch on for others =if not at least you gave it a try

Is there any way to clean a mascara brush?

I've never seen anyone do it. Just curious. Is there any way to clean a mascara brush?
Yes... I had to once when I went camping. I was applying some mascara when I dropped the brush on the ground. YUCK... So I cleaned it with dawn dishsoap. It took off everything. I had to let it dry before putting it back in the mascara. It worked just fine.Is there any way to clean a mascara brush?
maybe you just dust it or wash it dah
I don't think I would personally. I would just replace my mascara tubes every month.

Washing it would be really too messy.
I usually just run it under water and wipe it down with a bounty
With water and a wash cloth, or jsut water and your hand!

I do it all the time!

Make sure to dry it before putting it back in the mascara bottle.

We wouldn't want runny mascara now would we?!?!
    Hi,

You can use the cream for the makeup remover and try to clean the mascara brush.i tried it and it worked
I'd try alcohol or barbacide...that way you would take care of the bacteria too.

  • Does anyone have any tips on how to get my 19 month old son to brush his teeth?

He gets excited when I say ';time to brush your teeth'; but once I get the toothbrush in once he is done with it. I have tried letting him do it himself and I have two toothbrushes for him. One for him to use (which he just chews on) and one for me to use. Please help I don't want him to have cavities by the time he is two! Thanks!Does anyone have any tips on how to get my 19 month old son to brush his teeth?
You got to keep doing it. There will be a point he will want to do it himself instead of you. You just have to wait until he wants to and continue to brush his teeth yourself.Does anyone have any tips on how to get my 19 month old son to brush his teeth?
Try an electric toothbrush--there's all kinds of them at the store that may have a character on it that he likes.
Maybe you can try just wiping his gums with a soft wet rag first. Then eventually try the toothbrush again.
Make a reward system. Every time you brush his teeth or he does it himself, he gets a sticker to put on the calender. At the end of the month, if he has enough stickers, he gets reward.
Give the kid a break he is only 19 months old!!
There is no problem. Kids w/heathy diets donot get alot of cavitys. teach him the song up %26amp; down %26amp; all around this is how we brush our teeth.Or try the tunes tooth brush. Go to this web site it is great for ';good moms'; like yourself.wwwkizoodle.com. enter this code 6KD7GN.
Try to find a toothbrush of his favorite cartoon character.
Make up songs or use the ';Up Like A Rocket'; one (';Up like a rocket, down like the rain, back and forth like a choo-choo train'; LOL), give him stickers, have a tooth brushing race(that one always worked for my kids), buy him a tooth brush with his favourite character on it like Spiderman or Thomas the Tank Engine....
Kids at that age like to give us a hard time, but the trick I used with my niece and nephews was to take them to the store and let them pick out their own toothbrushes and toothpaste and floss (the ones with a theme like Winnie the Pooh and Power Rangers) and then I made them all excited to use them. And now, as long as I remind them, they run to brush their teeth because they have so much fun with it. Make it seem like a fun thing and not something they have to do. And when they decide they don't want to or they dont like their toothbrush anymore, I just pretend I'm going to give it away and tell them that they're going to have creepy crawly bugs in their teeth, they're then pretty eager to use them again. Hopes this helps!

    Good Luck
Just chewing on it is fine for his age. It will clean most of the gunk off anyway. I don't know if there is any toothpaste you can use, as it is not safe for him to swallow and he won't understand to spit it out. Just keep trying a couple of times a week to get them brushed properly and he will eventually get used to it.
I have a 19 month old son and i still use the finger tip toothbrush and brush his teeth with that..Why are you trying to make that young of a child to brush his own teeth??? he is not even going to do that good of a job. My daughter who is 9 yrs old now did not start brushing her own teeth til a little past 2 years old. give him time!!!
Toddlers are all about independence. Let him do it himself. He won't do it perfectly, but you can show him how by brushing your teeth along with him. He'll want to do exactly what you do. Get him a little step stool so he can stand at the sink with you. He'll want to copy what you do, including ';spitting'; and rinsing the brush (my 18-mos. old daughter does:)

    Good Luck!
He's only 19 months old. Brushing his teeth is YOUR job, while teaching him at the same time. He doesn't yet have the capability to do a proper job. Once he's older he'll be able to do it on his own (with you watching to make sure he does a good job)
Did you try using toothpaste for kids, or that Oral ';Trainer'; toothpaste? Maybe something with some flavor would entice him. I used Crest for Kids as soon as I started brushing my kids' teeth. They don't drink fluoridated water (I use bottled water) and I wanted them to get some fluride.
My daughter is 21 mt. old. and we've been working on tooth care since about 6 months...

First we used the finger brush. That worked well until she'd want to use it and then she ended up just chewing on it at around 11 months(which made me VERY nervous). So after that we went and got her a special ';BIG GIRL'; toothbrush, which was right around her 1st bday. Since then she is almost constantly ';brushing'; her teeth, at first she would just chew on it but now at 21 months she is pretty good at it. One way I've helped her learn to brush with the toothbrush is to help me brush mine (BEWARE: Sometimes she gets a little rough, but for the most part she's pretty good about staying on the teeth!!! LOL) This also worked well in allowing me to get in there and finish the job. EX. You help brush Mommy's teeth, then Mommy will help brush yours.

I'm using the trainer toothpaste and for the last 3 months or so she's grasped the concept of ';spitting';.

Just let your son work at it and he'll get it. There is no reason that you shouldn't allow him to brush. Good Luck and God Bless
My son loves to do everything I do. He's 17 months now and has been watching me brush my teeth every morning. When we decided that it had to be part of his routine I just did to him what he had seen me do. Monkey See, Monkey Do! We were told by our doctor that he was still too young for toothpaste.
My almost 20 month old loves to brush his teeth. He is constantly asking to do it. We made a game out of it at first. And we have two older children that he watched. Have him watch you brush your teeth and have him brush his teeth at the same time. As long as he is chewing on the brush, I would think that it was getting most of the gunk off and wouldn't be too worried about cavities. Just don't let him have a bunch of sweets.
My daughter (18 months old) has two toothbrushes both different but very decorative. I use the Orajel Training toothpaste, which she loves (And is minus the flouride which they should not have at this age - Wal-Mart carries it). Her pediatrician said by age one, I needed to be brushing her teeth and the first dental visit needs to be between one and two years old; they are not too expensive ususally and very helpful. (We are self-pay, no dental ins. and I think it was 64.00). Anyhow, I stand behind her and brush her teeth because it is easier for me to do it like I am doing my own, and then I give her the toothbrush to finish. This way, they get clean and she gets to practice. You may want to go by Barnes N Noble too, there are books about brushing teeth that can make it fun. You could also let him try to brush yours, my daughter gets a kick out of that.
Brush your teeth in front of him every single time and make it show him such a fun/cool thing to do. You shall not force him using the tooth brush but you should try to brush his teeth by yourself.
say ill give u an m%26amp;m if u brush your teeth. (only one m%26amp;m)

Should I brush my teeth or just wash it with plain water during night when drinking water ?

    hello friends,

Actually my question is very simple. I am 14 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Now-a-days i am very thristy even during night . my question is should I brush my teeth before drinking water during mid night or it is enough to wash it with plain water ?

IS those bacteria will harm my baby ? I usually brush teeth in the morning and night before i go to bed.Should I brush my teeth or just wash it with plain water during night when drinking water ?
    brush your teeth as normal

Godbless xShould I brush my teeth or just wash it with plain water during night when drinking water ?
If you are just drinking water you don't need to brush again...brush your teeth when you normally would. Do you really not get oral hygiene? If you were drinking juice, you might consider brushing afterwards, but that is only for the sugars, it doesn't affect your baby...
Fist off congrats on the baby to be. You should continue to brush as normal. Stop using salt during pregnancy. Drink when every your body needs it. You need more water now.
you dont need to brush your teeth any more than usual while pregnant..drinking water in the middle of the night without brushing wont hurt the baby or you =]
girl brush your teeth. dont wanna have halitosis. it wont harm the baby. i hope you dont swallow toothpaste. hahaha
Brushing your teeth does no hard at all to the baby so brush away whenever you usually do.
IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER AS LONG AS YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH.
no water wont hurt you teeth if it sit on it. you dont hsve to brush after drinking water
    Brush whenever you feel like.
You need to brush your teeth. Wow. What a question.
theres no reason to stop brushing your teeth..

Do u wear rubber gloves when cleaning the toilet or do u use the bog brush?

?Do u wear rubber gloves when cleaning the toilet or do u use the bog brush?
i never take gloves, only the brush and a bit of cleaning agent of courseDo u wear rubber gloves when cleaning the toilet or do u use the bog brush?
    Both.

I wear gloves, and use the brush. I don't use the brush for cleaning outside the bowl, I use a rag for that (a separate rag that doesn't get used for cleaning anything but the john.)
I use the bog brush to clean the pan immediately it needs it, but for the weekly clean, it's the latex gloves. As you know.
Oh well if it is a heavy/ thorough cleaning then I will surely wear rubber gloves to clean the entire toilet.

Maybe you can give me a hand to clean the toilet sometimes. lol

    Have a nice day!
I use both. I wear Playtex pink rubber gloves for cleaning the entire bathroom AND I use a dogbrush for cleaning the toilet (a disgusting job!)
i find electric toothbrushes for the outside work best because they target small spots. however for the inside i suggest wearing gloves and using the bog brush
I use a brush I only use gloves for dishes!
I use bleach and let it sit...but gloves to clean the outside tank
both... i always wear rubber gloves with all cleaning as i have long nails to protect
    i wear gloves

Do you brush your teeth before or after eating?

I have always brushed my teeth after I finish eating to get any crumbs or food left in my teeth and that way they can stay fresh the rest of the work day. All my relatives do it this way. A couple of days ago somebody treated me like I was crazy. She said first you brush then you eat to protect your teeth. Which way is correct?Do you brush your teeth before or after eating?
well your food is going to taste gross if you brush before u eat...I brush AFTER I eat...it just makes more since...even though brushing them b4 u eat might be the correct wayDo you brush your teeth before or after eating?
    before and after.

First thing in the morning so that is basically before every meal of the day and then after.
ive pretty much always brushed after, to get they yuck leftovers out.
You brush afterwards. But dont brush after every meal or snack so you dont damage them. To much brushing is bad too.
I brush my teeth and floss after I eat, in the morning and after I go to bed.
brush and floss after eating and before going to bed.

  • What would you say is the best brush to rid a long haired dog of its shedding hair?

I see all the different kinds and brands but I don't know which one is most effective. [[She's an australian shepherd]].What would you say is the best brush to rid a long haired dog of its shedding hair?
The furminator is a great tool, but I would guess it would be difficult to use for your dog (I can't use it on my Goldens...they just have too much hair). I recommend a Mars Coat King-either a 12-blade or 18-blade for your dog's coat. It does a great job of removing undercoat on dogs with heavy coats(not for everyday brushing). Use the Coat King every 2 weeks or so, and use a slicker or pin brush for every day brushing. After brushing my dogs, I follow up with a metal comb that has ';loose'; teeth on it to pick up whatever the brush has left behind. What would you say is the best brush to rid a long haired dog of its shedding hair?
A good slicker brush, push the bristles against your hand to make sure it's not too scratchy
    furminator
long hair needs a wired brush
    I LOVE slicker brushes!

I usually use a rake (it's a brush!) when my dogs are blowing coat! It is AMAZING!

I also have a pin brush for final touch ups!
I know people who swear by the FURminator (however, my puppies dont have that long undercoat...so a regular combs works fine for them)
I like using an undercoat rake.
    furminator
those de-shedder brushes u c on tv work.
I bought a Ferminator a while ago, it's fantastic. At the outset I was put off by the price (拢40) however it was worth it.
For my german shepard we always used this brush that was a metal teethed-loop on a wooden stick. It's sometimes called a shedding blade. Here's what it looks like:

    http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js鈥?/a>

You can find them cheaper. They were our life saver with shedding. We had an all white shepard once and this was amazing with her.
buy a thinning comb-it will have razor blades great for grooming-takes out all the knots plus thins the hair without being noticeable then follow with a stiff wire brush-i have 2 thick hairs cockers and its one of the best ways i know to stay on top of hair problems in dogs
If they have sensitive skin i reccomend getting a brush with loads of little brushes but each one has a soft end so it doesn't scratch...
A Furminator. The best investment I've made.

Is there an alternative to a paint brush?

Such as something homemade ? with household items ?

Or maybe something like q-tips; Except q-tips don't work well because they absorb the paint to fast. Something big though ?Is there an alternative to a paint brush?
Sponges work really well, and balled up paper towels can work too, if you're going for a certain look.Is there an alternative to a paint brush?
You can use a paint roller and there are also flat paint spreader (sorry don't know what the real name is) for when you do trim work.

As far as something in the house, yeah sponges are probably the best bet. Make sure you wet it first though or else it will soak up all the paint and waste it.

If you don't have any clue, I'd appreciate it if you don't mislead me.Is it harmful in any way to brush your teeth with baking soda instead of tooth paste?
I asked my dentist about that awhile back. She said that once in a great while is fine, but that straight baking soda is actually abrasive and can damage the enamel on your teeth. Is it harmful in any way to brush your teeth with baking soda instead of tooth paste?
I heard that using baking soda only can make teeth yellow so they add salt to prevent that.

I don't like toothpaste either but I like it better than salt and soda and those other tooth powders that taste awful. Pepsodent used to make a tooth powder that I really liked but they quit making it. Dang it.
I don't think so but if you just don't like the taste of toothpaste they make a brand called Tom's natural toothpaste.

Are you supposed to wash your mascara brush?

Lately when I put on my mascara, it comes out all clumpy. I think if I washed the mascara brush, then that would help. Are you supposed to wash the mascara brush? Is that okay to do?Are you supposed to wash your mascara brush?
not washed but wipe it with a cotton pad with vaseline until the old mascara comes off.. or just wipe it with a tissue

i do this everytime my mascara starts to get clumpy then its perfectly fine againAre you supposed to wash your mascara brush?
Don't wash the brush. Water may stay in the bristles and then get down in the product, and you don't want that. It sounds like you just have a bad mascara. Or either it's just old. Make sure to replace mascara every 3 months. Also, you may want to try Mary Kay's ultimate mascara. It has a little shelf inside the tube that the brush rubs against when you pull it out and it gets the excess mascara off so that it doesn't clump on the brush. If you're interested, visit marykay.com/bsenseney to purchase.
I would recommend that you get a new mascara. They are not supposed to last more than a few months - difinately under a year, and they can get infested with bacteria - which is why you should also never share mascara!

Just keep in mind that bacteria on old mascara brushes can cause eye infections that lead to blindness!!
no! dont do that, what a mess. it sounds to me like your mascara is drying up, so its prob. old. Here's the BEST trick to fix the problem with out having to buy a new one.

-fill a cup/glass with about 2 inches of water

-twist hte top of the mascara to open it, but dont take out your wand.

-then put the mascara tube in the cup. Then put it in the microwave for 45 sec.

you mascara will melt and no longer be dry. This is a quick fix but you'll eventually youll need a new one.
you should really get new mascara (3-6 months max) but if the actual thing is still usable, then just get a new brush.

don't wash it - bacteria and the rest would be on, and you might get an infection :(
Nope. It's time to buy new mascara. I replace my mascara every 6 weeks. It avoids clumping.
Not the brush is the problem there is the mascara. Buy other
No your not suppose to wash it. if you need to make it less on there is taking your finger and running it on the brush.
    No, buy a new mascara.
Washing the Brissel will ruined it :\
I GUESS YOU COULD WASH IT THEN LET IT DRY REAL GOOD DONT STICK IT BACK IN WET IT WOULD BE A MESS BUT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED ANOTHER KIND OF MASCARA AND IT COULD HAVE BEEN OLD TOO.

Can I use a nylon roller brush to paint a ceiling with an oil paint?

an oil roller cover cost about $2-4, But i would recommend using latex paint, you wont make as big of a mess using latex than you would oil. and if you do use oil make sure you open some windows lol that stuff will make you GOOOFY if your using it long enoughCan I use a nylon roller brush to paint a ceiling with an oil paint?
You need a roller with more of a nap to hold the load of paint, especially for a ceiling. Nylon won't last and will drip and splatter more.

Good luckCan I use a nylon roller brush to paint a ceiling with an oil paint?
Go down to the local tool rental and rent a sprayer. It applies paint more evenly and y would u put oil based paint on a ceiling? Is it metal?
oil base paint takes a special short nap roller with a certain blend. it should be marked on package.

    Hi!

Wow Great you can speak English!

Well, I told you in the other question (In Spanish) about the paint brushes

Hehe, Is a good surprise that you Know English because is

easier in the Trading Post, In that place you can find many paint brushes, but they are so expensive, remember read my another answer for more information ^^

    Good Luck!

I Hope that you can get the Paint Brush you want! =D

Greetings! How can I get one paint-brush in Neopets?
Most paintbrushes are very rare so they won't appear on the shopwiz. And unless you have a million neopoints I wouldn't reommend going after the faerie or baby paintbrush. However the neoboards do wonderful things. Ask around if anyone has good deals on the paintbrushes you want.
You have to buy it yourself from the trading post, shop wizard or auctions, get it from a random event, or you might win a paint brush as a prize from a wheel. Or else you can ask your friends to get it for your birthday or something.
You can buy Neopets paintbrushes from http://neopetsguru.com/neopets-items/neo鈥?/a> They also sell Neopoints and other stuff :)
You can go to users' shops, the trading post, auctions. You can buy a baby paint brush from The Hidden Tower. That's pretty simple. But they cost so much, like over 80,000 NPs
you can go to auctions you can trade and you can go to other people's stores

Yes its fine. You still develop plaque even if you don't eat or drink and its not that great to keep it on there.
Fasting allows MESWAK. So, from this it can be deduced that brushing is also allowed. the purpose of both is hygiene.

How bad is it to not brush your teeth for the night?

And how about only once a day?How bad is it to not brush your teeth for the night?
Brushing day and night is very important, if you only brush at night, your breath will smell bad in the morning, if you only brush in the morning, your teeth will be dirty at night and you will get cavities easily, because of all the bacteria.

If you only want to brush once a day, brush at night instead of in the morning, your mouth is dirtier at night. Maybe instead of brushing your teeth in the morning, you can use only mouth wash in the morning and gargle really well. How bad is it to not brush your teeth for the night?
Just imagine the smell if you did not brush at bedtime....! Bacteria work all night....regardless.

How can i remove roller brush hairs from a painted wall?

Hi, i made the mistake of using a cheap roller, and now i can see tiny hairs in the paint on my wall. is there a way of removing these hairs with the minimum of fuss? How can i remove roller brush hairs from a painted wall?
Take some medium grit oxide sandpaper (or fine grit if your walls are not flat painted) and just barely run it over the hairs. This should easily remove them. If there are lots of them, then you can purchase a drywall sanding head, attach it to a sanding pole, and gently whisk it over your walls. This should remove the majority of the hairs. If you see any areas that have been dulled from sanding with too much pressure, you can simply touch up paint those spots, which takes very little time. Just don't repaint with that same roller :) How can i remove roller brush hairs from a painted wall?
thanks so much for the response guys. I tryed sanding the wall lightly with fine sandpaper, and hey presto the hairs come flying off like a gay mans trousers! this site is really cool, and peoplee here are so helpfull. thanks Report Abuse

Nope. Rub down and do it again with a decent sleeve. whenever im using a new sleeve i run my hand over it to remove any loose hairs prior to using it.
Are they sticking out? I think you could use a clean flame to burn them off without scorching,or if there embedded with clumps I would scrape an start anew, Does it look really bad? You might paint over with texture roller..
You might to repaint using a different fiber, next time use tape to remove excess hairs.

What kind of brush should you brush a Cairn terrier/Yorkie with?

Read above! I need to give our little dog a bath! Well she's not mine but she is my Mom's dog! What kind of brush should you brush a Cairn terrier/Yorkie with?
I used to own a Cairn Terrier (purebred) and you have to PLUCK the hairs out for grooming. Mixed with a Yorkie, I don't know what to tell you as the hair type would be totally different and you have to groom both breeds in different ways.

What kind of brush should you brush a Cairn terrier/Yorkie with?
Well i used to have a yorkie but I wouldn't use a shedding tool because they never shed but I used a wire brush to brush him.

Nose gets sticky after i brush my teeth?

After i've brushed my teeth, and used mouthwash, my nose gets all sticky, not inside my nostrils, and i dont touch my nose or put toothpaist on it either. What is it? Btw im 13,Nose gets sticky after i brush my teeth?
Some people find that the strong mint flavouring used in toothpaste and mouthwash can make their nose a little bit runny, or can make them want to sneeze. This is probably why your nose is getting sticky. It's totally normal, and shouldn't stop you from brushing your teeth.

  • Apply liquid foundation with damp brush or dry?

I often hear about how it's a great idea to apply liquid foundation with a damp sponge, but never about how it might be wise to use a damp makeup brush. Since using a foundation brush is my preferred method of application, should I dampen it first or is it fine to leave it dry? Thanks!Apply liquid foundation with damp brush or dry?
I think you should do it dry because sponge absorbs moisture, but the brush doesn't, so it will just mess with your foundation.

    answer mine please

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>Apply liquid foundation with damp brush or dry?
if u want more coverage use a dry sponge/ brush

less coverage or a more dewy look use a damp sponge or brush
dont use a brush to apply liquid foundation. it'll come out streaky and uneven. Your best bet is to just use the sponge (dry)
dampen it GENTLY. if you get too much water in it, it'll make your makeup look runny.

Fellow sims 2 addict, OMG yes!!! One time I spent an hour trying to get a fat, round brush out of my head. One wrong move of the wrist and I was caught. It was so frustrating I swore off the brush afterwards. What a traumatic event!Has anyone ever gotten a brush stuck in their hair?

yes it used to happen all the time but since i got it thinned out it has'nt happened
omgsh yea!! i felt lk sucha retard it was lk 2am and i was dead tired so i went to sleep and i got up it was a bit loose so i pulled it out * it hurt lk hell* but it was out and only lk a few stands were out not a huge chunk
yes and my mom was the one that got it stuck and out through PRAYER!
yes, it was quite embarassing, had to call my husband, i was trying to roll it for a curl
YES! About five years ago I had really long hair and that happened to me. It was so painful and embarrassing. When that happens its actually because your not using the brush correctly. Your twisting too much hair into it at once. So, when it tangles up your brush gets stuck. I suggest going at a slower pace when brushing your hair.
