Why does Morning Breath happen?


Your saliva flow slows down or can even stop. This means that there is less buffering of bacteria, less oxygen input, less tongue movement. As you have mentioned, the mouth will still smell nif you haven't eaten anything...... so you brush your teeth, which leave a fresh smell.....also, during the night, the saliva in your mouth coats your teeth, and a coat of germs grow on it.....this is stinky......so you brush your teeth, and the detergent in the tooth paste celans your mouth as well......
