How do I create a realistic paint brush effect in AdobePhotoshop?

I have a graphics tablet and I want to create a pint brush stroke techniques in a design im working on, any help out there? How do I create a realistic paint brush effect in AdobePhotoshop?
You can change your brushes in the brush palette. Experiment with different ones, you'll find something you like. Realism is best helped by lowering the opacity on some strokes, and layering them.





Edit: Also, in your layers menu, you'll see a drop down box that says ';Normal'; beside the opacity adjustment. Play around with those, they will let you switch up the blends.
