Can I use a nylon roller brush to paint a ceiling with an oil paint?

an oil roller cover cost about $2-4, But i would recommend using latex paint, you wont make as big of a mess using latex than you would oil. and if you do use oil make sure you open some windows lol that stuff will make you GOOOFY if your using it long enoughCan I use a nylon roller brush to paint a ceiling with an oil paint?
You need a roller with more of a nap to hold the load of paint, especially for a ceiling. Nylon won't last and will drip and splatter more.

Go down to the local tool rental and rent a sprayer. It applies paint more evenly and y would u put oil based paint on a ceiling? Is it metal?
oil base paint takes a special short nap roller with a certain blend. it should be marked on package.
